The group TWS has received once again a gold disc certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan.

According to the announcement of the Recording Industry Association of Japan on June 10, the 5th mini-album “NO TRAGEDY” of TWS obtained the “Platine” certification by exceeding 250,000 copies of shipments on the basis of the month of May. The Recording Industry Association of Japan attributes each month certifications based on the cumulative volume of record shipments, by classifying them into “Or” for more than 100,000 copies, “Platine” for more than 250,000 copies, and “Double Platine” for more than 500,000 copies.
It is the second time that TWS receives the “Platine” certification, after its first Japanese debut single “NICE TO SEE YOU AGAIN (하지메마시테)” in July of last year. By including the 4th mini-album “PLAY HARD”, the 3e mini-album “TRY WITH US” and the 1st single “LAST BELL” published previously, TWS has inscribed so far a total of 5 albums on the list of gold disc certifications.
“NO TRAGEDY” sold around 200,000 copies for the single day of May 5, first day of its local release, and settled at the top in the “Weekly Album Ranking” and the “Weekly Combined Album Ranking” of Oricon, as well as in the “Top Albums Sales” of Billboard Japan. It also ranked respectively at the 1st and 2nd places of the “Top Albums” rankings of the K-Pop category of iTunes and Apple Music in Japan.
“NO TRAGEDY” inscribed its name at the 10th place of the “Top Albums Sales” category of the recently published first half of 2026 review of Billboard Japan. This is the highest ranking among 5th generation K-Pop albums. TWS also entered the “Artist 100” ranking, which combines the points of the general song ranking and the general album ranking.
TWS will release the official support song of the national football team of the Republic of Korea “Dream with us” next June 11. In addition, they will open the doors of their tour in 8 cities of Asia by organizing next June 27 and 28 “2026 TWS TOUR ’24/7:FOR:YOU’ IN SEOUL” at the KSPO DOME of the Olympic Park in Songpa-gu, Seoul.
