A special gift from the next-generation global virtual boy group B THE HOOD arrives.
B THE HOOD will release its first digital pre-release single “LOWKEY” on June 26 at 6 PM on various musical platforms.
The new song “Lowkey” is the first track presented before their official debut, and constitutes the first greetings that the five members EON (이언), JACE ( 제이스), PER B (퍼비b), KYRYU (기류), and LUAN (루안) address to the music industry.
The track is an easy listening pop genre where heavy trap drums blend with dreamlike 80s lofi synthesizers, and expresses the unknown and delicate fluttering that the boys feel, having arrived on Earth after leaving the planet Novus, when they experience “emotions” for the first time.
The title “Lowkey” signifies a moment when one is calm on the outside, but where a small wave rises on the inside and a difficult-to-explain excitement seeps in. It contains a message that can extend not only to romantic feelings, but also to friendship, growth, and relief.
The album artwork unveiled together is a text title engraved on a blue hairball texture, which connects to the narrative of the SD characters shown previously in the BTHD animation. At the same time, it creates a contrast with the dark image of the LD characters presented in the launching trailer, highlighting an inverse charm.
