ERIC, a member of the group THE BOYZ, sincerely confided his recent feelings and his period of inactivity.
ERIC appeared as a guest on the DIVE Studios English podcast “Get Real” released on June 25, where he discussed his current situation and his future plans. In sharing his impressions on the success of “THE BOYZ CONCERT INTER-ZECTION”, which took place over three days starting April 24, ERIC explained:
“We really prepared for this with passion and we finished it well. We made efforts to prepare everything for the concert by integrating our ideas well.”
Previously, THE BOYZ had filed a request for an injunction to suspend the validity of their exclusive contract against their agency ONE HUNDRED, and the court had rendered a decision in their favor the day before the concert.
When asked a question about his current situation, ERIC confided: “I’ve had too much time alone. Basically, I don’t really like being alone.” He revealed in all frankness his complex feelings by declaring: “People think I have a lot of friends and that I’m very sociable, but in reality, I don’t have that many friends. The members are my family, but family and friends, that’s different, isn’t it? I like meeting people but I tend to burn out easily, and currently, I wish to focus more on my career.”
Regarding his recent activities in particular, ERIC said: “I feel like currently, my career is in a pause moment. Despite everything, I continue to constantly reflect on what we can do in the future as a group.” On this subject, while the hosts of “Get Real” encouraged him by saying that he “could completely overcome this period”, ERIC responded: “Honestly, it hasn’t been easy”, while adding:
“It seems that there are people in this industry who take advantage of young people or who approach you for their own benefit.”
Previously, the request for an injunction to suspend the validity of the exclusive contract filed by 9 members of THE BOYZ, with the exception of NEW, against their former agency ONE HUNDRED was accepted. At the time, the court estimated that the obligation of payment of financial settlements and the obligation of protection of the artist had not been correctly executed, breaking the relationship of trust to the point that it would be difficult to restore it. Faced with this, the side of ONE HUNDRED had expressed its position by declaring: “The acceptance of the injunction is not a final judgment, and we will reveal the truth through the lawsuit on the merits.”
