DK, a member of SEVENTEEN who boasts a unique vocal capacity, becomes the second OST performer for the tvN Saturday-Sunday drama “Spooky in love” (directed by Lee Minsoo / written by Choi Jungmi / planned by CJ ENM / produced by CJ ENM, CJ ENM STUDIOS, B.pic, SangSang Film).
On July 24, the OST producer of Stone Music Entertainment stated: “On the 26th at 6 PM KST, “Stay with me“, Part 2 of the OST for the tvN Saturday-Sunday drama “Spooky in love” in which DK of SEVENTEEN participated as a singer, will be officially released on various online music sites.”
The new song “Stay with me” is a song distinguished by its dramatic development starting with a lyrical piano melody and culminating in a powerful rock sound, and DK, in charge of vocals, expressed to perfection with a voice both delicate and explosive the loneliness of being left alone in a cold world, as well as the burning desire to protect the only warmth found within it.
To this, DK‘s timbre rich in persuasive power harmonizes with the cute emotional line faced by the drama’s characters, which should further raise the level of viewers’ immersion in the series.
First broadcast on July 18, tvN’s “Spooky in love” is a drama depicting the event-filled occult romance between a chaebol heiress who sees ghosts and a passionate prosecutor who is most afraid of ghosts. It is a remake of the popular film of the same name, and the “trusted actors” Park Eunbin, Yang Sejong, and Ong Seongwu, endowed with solid acting, deliver a passionate performance, obtaining enthusiastic responses from viewers right from the start of the broadcast.
In particular, director Lee Minsoo, recognized for his remarkable sense in directing among others tvN’s “Resident playbook”, and writer Choi Jungmi teamed up to present a high-quality romance.
