“Swim” by the group BTS has been included in the American Billboard’s “2026 Global Songs of the Summer”.

According to the “2026 Global Songs of the Summer” published on the 10th by the American music media Billboard, “Swim”, the lead song of BTS’s 5th studio album “ARIRANG”, took 2nd place in the “Global Excl. U.S.” and 6th place in the “Global 200”.
The “Global Songs of the Summer” ranks the cumulative performance on the “Global” charts from June 6 to September 12 of this year, based on streaming and sales data compiled by Luminate in more than 200 regions around the world.
“Swim” came in at the top of the “Global Excl. U.S.” 8 times in total this summer and remained in the “Top 5” for 23 consecutive weeks. In the “Global 200”, after reaching 1st place 4 times in total, it ranked in the top 10 for 19 consecutive weeks.
The album “ARIRANG” also continues its long-term success. “ARIRANG” settled at 29th place on the “Billboard 200” in the latest chart published on the 10th by Billboard (as of September 12), up 2 places compared to the previous week. Even 6 months after its release, it shows a constant presence on the main albums chart.
This week, “Swim” rose to 7th place on the “Global Excl. U.S.” and to 18th place on the “Global 200”, while the side track “Normal” occupied 60th and 96th place. “Body to body” also ranked 187th, allowing a total of 3 songs to maintain their presence on the “Global Excl. U.S.” chart for the 24th week.
The music video for “Swim” was selected as a winner in the “Best Group Video / International” category at the “2026 MTV Video Music Awards Japan” (“2026 MTV VMAJ”).
After all members completed their military service last March, BTS reunited in full to release “ARIRANG”, receiving keen interest in the global music market.
