On August 27th in Tokyo, in the Yebisu The Garden Hall, group MYTEEN held its showcase for its Japanese debut, twice in one day.

The characteristic of MYTEEN is the fact that it is a new group with a fresh concept and a vocal stability. They captivated the 3000 people who came to see them, both by their performance and their ability to introduce themselves in Japanese, which allowed them to receive a warm response from fans.
After starting the showcase with the song “Amazing (어마 어마 하게)“, the boys interpreted their song “YOU-REKA (이 동네 왜 이래)“. They then looked at the audience and thanked the Japanese fans for their love by saying:
“This is not real. We should work even harder. Thank you.”
MYTEEN then sang their song “Jjajangmyeon (짜장면)“, receiving much acclaim from the fans. Then came the time for “Take it out (꺼내 가)“, choreographed by VIXX‘s N, with a glamorous performance full of charisma.
The boys finished their showcase with, as encore, their song title “Amazing“. Their Japanese show gathered more than the double of people expected and was even sold out.
The group then stated:
“It’s only been a month since we’ve debuted in Korea, but there already are so many people who have come to see us, we are truly touched. In the future we will show an even better image.“
Japanese officials also complimented them saying that:
“MYTEEN is a group with good vocal and visual capacities, as well as talent. They are also very good in stage performances. They have versatile charms, whether artistically speaking or in their ability to communicate in another language, such as Japanese. They are the next generation of the Hallyu wave.”
To continue their tour abroad, MYTEEN will hold a concert with Gong Minzy on September 8th at 8 pm, in Hong Kong, following their promotion in Japan.
