YG Entertainment unveils for the first time in four years, a new group of boys.
YG Entertainment today announced, January 28th, the name of the winning group of its survival. The new group of boys will be called “TREASURE“.
The seven chosen members are BANG YE DAM, HARUTO, SO JUNG HWAN, KIM JOON KYU, PARK JUNG WOO, YOON JAE HYUK and CHOI HYUN SEOK. They proved their skills during the survival program broadcast on Naver TV and V LIVE “YG Treasure Box” since last November.
Since YG Entertainment didn’t present a trainee group last time, during its last survival, expectations are high.
However, critics are big about the failure of MIXNINE. Fans and professionals are wondering if it’s a good idea to start a new group while the YG Entertainment team didn’t manage to do it for the last game.
“As the group’s name has been confirmed, the debut would be delayed,” said YG Entertainment. “We plan to make our debut soon because producer YANG HYEON SEOK is actively working on the band“.
