Kpop star PARK YOO CHUN has been expelled from his agency C-Jes Entertainment, said Wednesday, the day after the request for arrest warrant by the police for allegations related to drugs.

“We decided to end the contract with PARK YOO CHUN after judging that our confidence in him is irreparable,” said C-Jes Entertainment.
“We learned yesterday from the media that the test of the National Service of Forensic Medicine (NFS) was positive as we followed the result of the investigation, believing PARK YOO CHUN‘s innocence claim,” said JYJ agency, the group of which PARK YOO CHUN is part with two other members.
Calling the result “dismal”, the production company added that the 33-year-old singer and actor will leave the entertainment industry, cancel all his programs and submit to the court’s decision.
After her former fiancée and the granddaughter of the founder of one of South Korea’s largest dairy producers, Hwang Ha-na, was arrested for allegedly buying and using methamphetamines earlier this month PARK YOO CHUN is facing suspicions of illegal drug use. However, he gave a press conference on April 10th and rejected the charges.
Yesterday, the police announced that a drug test conducted on a sample of leg hair was positive and that she was looking for an arrest warrant against PARK YOO CHUN.
“We deeply feel the gravity of this problem and the responsibility for it,” said C-Jes Entertainment, promising “in-depth” efforts to prevent the repetition of such a case.
PARK YOO CHUN‘s initial urine test showed no trace of narcotics, but in early April police obtained a sample of hair from his body while ransacking his home in Hanam, Gyeonggi Province, his car.
A hearing will be held on Friday to decide whether or not to issue an arrest warrant against PARK YOO CHUN.
