CLC: Their new Billboard success.
CLC‘s latest single called «Devil» allowed the girls to get on BILLBOARD‘s Social 50 chart.
Yesterday, an article published on the BILLBOARD website announced the news: «CLC’s Comeback Single ‘Devil’ Powers Social 50 Chart Debut». They are currently ranking 47th out of 50.
BILLBOARD explains that the Social 50 chart ranks the fifty most popular artists on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Youtube, and Wikipedia. It is CLC‘s popularity on Twitter that allowed the group to enter the Social 50 chart. Indeed, the girls score 140,000 Twitter reactions and 61,000 Twitter mentions.
In the article, we can read that CLC had previously entered various charts including World Albums, Heatseekers Albums, and World Digital Song Sales. The journalist says that «While it’s still yet to see if CLC‘s new song can enter the charts, the increased social attention indicates a healthy, growing interest (…) and could certainly lead to even more future Billboard success».
Regarding «Devil», it is a digital single with retro charms that was uploaded on the 6th of September.
