Yesterday, singer SOYA was invited as the guest of SBS LoveFM radio program called KIM SANG HYUK, DINDIN’S BROTHER’S RADIO (rough translation).
Singer and actor LEE KI CHAN was the second guest of yesterday’s show, and both of them got to entertain the listeners. SOYA sang her new single entitled «Someday» which was released on the 27th of September this year. In spite of the fact that it was a live session, the talented singer performed her song perfectly and seduced the public.
SOYA talked about the «sam-dan go-eum» (a term used in South Korea since the release of IU‘s song called «Good Day» to talk about the three high notes) she incorporated in her new song: «At first, my producer and I thought we would go for five high notes but then we changed our minds and decided we would go for three only. I actually got my inspiration from IU». Later during the show, she also talked about her 3 years long hiatus: «I kept training alone during the whole time I was absent. (At some point) my parents suggested me to find another job but I had no idea what I could do».
After the show, the DJs KIM SANG HYUK and DINDIN, as well as LEE KI CHAN and SOYA herself, took a picture altogether (see above).
SOYA debuted back in 2010 as a member of the duet SOYA N’ SUN. She is now back after a long hiatus and she is currently meeting her fans through a national tour to celebrate the release of her new single. The tour ends on the 2nd of November in Seoul.
