BILLBOARD, the popular U.S. magazine highlights the comeback of the boy band VICTON.
BILLBOARD recently posted an article on its official website titled «Victon Make Social 50 Debut Ahead Of Comeback With ‘Nostalgic Night’».
On Twitter, BILLBOARD received over four thousand retweets as the media announced the rise of the band at the 45th rank in the Social 50 chart. The journalist added: «Almost exactly three years after their debut on the K-pop scene, Victon is finally seeing their efforts pay off on the charts».
In its article, BILLBOARD explains: «While Victon had released four EPs prior to Nostalgia, the hype for the new release comes after two of the seven members appeared on Korea’s sensational TV program Produce X 101». The journalist adds: «Produce X 101and Produce 101 […] has fueled chart gains for several boy bands whose members have appeared on the show». This would explain the sudden rise of VICTON in the charts.
Regarding the release of the band’s fifth mini-album, BILLBOARD wrote: «Nostalgia and its lead single “Nostalgic Night” earn additional attention as the first release from Victon in 18 months as well as the first release with the remaining six members».
Boy band VICTON knows a great success since the release of its fifth mini-album entitled NOSTALGIA. The six boys will perform today on TV in the Mnet show called M COUNTDOWN.
