ASTRO‘s members performed for their fans in a showcase to introduce their 6th mini album.
On November 20th, ASTRO performed at the YES24 Live Hall in Seoul to introduce a new mini album entitled “BLUE FLAME“. The showcase’s MC were the members MJ and YOON SANHA who were always joyful and in a good mood. The group performed for the Hall audience but also for fans from all over the world thanks to the showcase’s broadcast on the app VLIVE where they received more than 400 million hearts from their fans, called AROHA. The five members of ASTRO and their fans also expressed their sadness because the sixth member, MOONBIN, could not be there. He still has to rest because of a health issue but he said that he watched the VLIVE broadcast and commented on his friends’ great performances.
That was the first time that the title song “Blue Flame” was performed live so the fans were really excited. ASTRO also sang “All Night” and “I’ll Be There” that their fans already knew. Moreover, when they sang the new fans’ song entitled “You’re my world“, the atmosphere radically changed and we could feel the fans’ love for the group.
Between the several performances, the five members were able to play a few games to present their mini album. In the “question book” section, they had to answer questions about the comeback that were all written in a book. For exemple, ROCKY had the question : “What makes you think that you improved between the previous album and this new one ?”. The main dancer, who already created a lot of ASTRO‘s choreographies, explained that this time JINJIN and MOONBIN helped him to create the title song’s choreography. In the “story relay” section, the members had to choose and read kind words from their fans that were written on post-it. Their sincere words, that all had a link with the group’s comeback, put a smile on the members’ face and made them happy.
Finally, the leader JINJIN said that he hopes that their hard work during these previous 10 months paid and can really be seen through this new mini album. Indeed, this comeback is really intense and shows the group’s evolution as artists. Moreover, ROCKY‘ skills as a lyricist and composer were praised and made the members really proud of him.
ASTRO‘s members will start their promotion with the mini album “BLUE FLAME” in TV broadcasts and will start with Music Bank on November 22th.
