G-DRAGON : He donates a basketball court with Nike.

G-DRAGON and Nike make a significant donation!

On November 24th, Nike declared: “At a donation ceremony held on November 23rd, G-DRAGON donated the country’s first” art field “containing the “PARA-NOISE” artwork to the community. Olympic Park in Seoul, where basketball baskets were once used on asphalt, not only to improve the sporting environment, but also to hope for change in all areas of the country communities that love sport and culture, and hope that they will unleash their new inspiration.”

This activity can also be seen as an initiative to celebrate again the symbolic meaning of the sneakers that have become the center of G-DRAGON‘s collaboration with Nike. Since its beginnings on the basketball court in 1982, Air Force 1 has become a source of inspiration in a wide range of areas ranging from art, music, design and street culture.

In the circle in the center of the courtyard, there is a large daisy that symbolizes peace, and on the sidelines, we read the phrase “THE FLOWER IS THE YOUTH OF LIFE“, as well as the illustration incorporated into its sneakers by G-DRAGON. The back panels of the hoops add energy to the playing surface thanks to the slogan “JUST DO IT” from Nike, written in Korean.
