2PM reported a strong response to the privacy breaches.
On January 15th, JYP Entertainment posted a notice on its official SNS and other details on the leak of personal information and the violation of the privacy of its artists.
“We announced last July that we had filed a complaint against privacy breaches and threats to our artists, but we still need to confirm that the problem persists. This results in our artists being subjected to a constant mental stress, reaching a critical level,” the agency said.
“We would like to make it clear once again that we will respond firmly without just cause to any act that interferes with artists’ activities, so that it can be done safely, including invasion of privacy and threats, and that we will do our best to punish the author even if it takes time,” it added.
