South Korea will take action in relation to South Korean entry bans on certain countries.

Since the start of the Corona virus crisis, several countries have prohibited South Koreans from coming to their homes, preventing them from entering.
The government will soon implement a decision to temporarily suspend visa waiver programs for countries imposing entry bans on South Koreans, an official with the foreign ministry said on Wednesday.
South Korea initially announced that it will end visa-free and visa-free entry programs for countries that have barred South Koreans from entering due to the new coronavirus epidemic , in order to curb the increase in imported cases.
Discussions are underway with the various representatives to find out which countries will be affected by this measure. This measure will not prevent travelers from visiting South Korea but they will need to obtain a visa to enter the country.
This decision will be applied to 88 countries including Canada and Australia. The United States will not be affected, as the country still allows the entry of South Koreans. In addition, China does not have a visa exemption agreement or program and will not be affected by this rule.
