Woo! Ah!
Group WOO! AH! from NV Entertainment makes its debut this Wednesday, May 13th with the single “Exclamation“.
The group consists of six young girls: NANA, WOOYEON, SORA, LUCY, MINSEO and SONGYEE.
They begin their showcase by performing the title “Payday“, all dressed in white and angelic outfits, contrasting with their photo teasers, which give a darker and rocker image. They leave the stage so that the MV marking their debut, with the song bearing the name of the group, can be broadcast. They then come back to interpret this one wearing new outfits.
Once their performance is over, they pose for the photographers before sitting down to discuss their debuts. They express themselves on their individual charm: WOOYEON selects her eyes, LUCY the fact that she looks cold while is quite different, NANA choose her smile and her charisma on stage, MINSEO her smile, which according to her resembles that of the pokemon Carapuce, SORA her cheeks similar to that of a squirrel, and finally SONGYEE chooses her deep voice despite her young age (16 years).
The girls are all very happy to finally be on stage to celebrate their debut and hope to have fun and have a good time.

WOOHYEON briefly performs the choreography that their manager judges to be the key passage of the dance, when they sing “Barabarabim barabaraboom“. She continues by announcing that the group is launching a contest to win, among other things, autographed albums of the group or even iPads. To participate, simply post videos of yourself on the Tik Tok app, identifying the group with hashtags.
When asked who their role model is in the music industry, NANA chooses Jennie from Black Pink and SORA, the Japanese member of the group, mentions Twice‘s Mina (also Japanese), adding that her favorite song from the group is their last song, “Feel special“. WOOYEON, who particularly likes ballads, chooses the singer IU. SONGYEE, prefers Hyuna for her presence on stage. LUCY chooses Lee Hyori and to conclude, MINSEO appoints IU and BTS.

SORA then takes the time to describe her past and experience as a Japanese. She says that since childhood, she has been a big fan of Kpop and that SNSD in particular made her want to go on stage, which pushed her to come to Korea to learn the profession. NANA bounces back by saying that she wants to detach herself from the other groups by offering a unique musical imprint to WOO! AH! Then, to be able to communicate with their fans in the future, SONGYEE reveals she is learning English and Chinese and she presents herself in both languages.
As for the styles they would like to test in the future, they are confident in saying that they can do anything, considering themselves as chameleons. WOOYEON hopes that WOO! AH! will become a group that everyone wants to see. To achieve this goal, they will continue to work hard to provide good performances.
The group concludes the showcase hoping that everyone will listen carefully to their first single and that they will receive a lot of love. MINSEO announces a live on Tik Tok will soon happen to meet their fans, as well as through the group’s other social networks.
This first single is composed of two titles:
- ” WOO! AH ”: The powerful DISTORTION 808 bass, rap and relentless voices of the members are combined with an analog synthesizer and digital music, and the song offers a variety of attractive tones with TRAP HIPHOP and EDM in the chorus.
- « PAYDAY » : It’s a POP / R & B song that offers a harmony of genres with trap, powerful brass during the chorus and a soft but energetic melodic line.
