On this Tuesday, July 14, JEONG SEWOON (정세운) of STARSHIP ENTERTAINMENT releases his first album 24 PART 1.
It was during a live press showcase on YouTube that the young singer already known to the public – having participated in the popular show Produce 101 season two and Kpop Star 3 – unveiled his first album. The showcase begins with a video teaser presenting the artist, before the latter is revealed behind his microphone, performing a first title, “Horizon“. Professional, he is his own MC, and begins by thanking the journalists present online for discovering his album. With pride, he presents this album, the first since its debut three years ago.
He reveals that he was quite concerned by the image he wanted to adopt for 24 PART 1, which would make you recognize his style by listening. The number 24 is not chosen at random, because the young singer is celebrating his 24th birthday this year, and this album is like a revival for him, which captures both the youth who wanders around in a form of wandering, and provides a comforting message by focusing on romantic feelings throughout the album’s six tracks.
SEWOON then presents each of the titles, starting with the title song “Say yes“. Having a slightly different vibe from the other tracks, this is a fast-paced track that combines acoustic sounds and notes with a synthesizer.

He focuses on the rest of the album, describing “Don’t know” as a song with an impressive guitar sound, “Horizon” as a joyful song that gives the impression of driving to an unknown destination by car, “Beeeee” infusing a feeling of freshness,” Dynamic “which brings a unique sense of humor and finally” 새벽 별 “which concludes the album with the sweetness of a relaxing ballad. He insists on the presence of the five e in the title “Beeeee” which represents the rhythm he adopts when singing, similar to the buzzing of a bee. It is a daring first step that the artist takes by revealing feelings that wanted to hear and transmit through this first album.
He continues with the broadcasting of the clip for “Say yes” which is sparkling and colorful. The singer has fun in a festive and sunny environment. SEWOON then performs the title on stage. Once finished, he takes the time to answer a few questions. He says he wants to collaborate in the future, and even explore new genres, while retaining his own style.
