“Kpop fans are more likely to become fans of the group after watching NCT‘s performances, and ‘Boss‘ was at the top of the list as a winning song,” Blip said on August 10th.

To the question “Tell us about how you became a fan of NCT“, 42.5% answered “seeing them on stage“, 27.5% answered “seeing them in programs (except musical ) such as entertainment / theater”, 15% responded “by seeing a video provided by their agency”, 12.5% responded “by a video made by fans”and 2.5% responded “by listening their songs“.
Also, when asked, “What’s the song that makes you a fan of NCT?” 30% responded that it was “Boss” from NCT U, which was included in “NCT 2018 EMPATHY” released in 2018. It was followed by “Hero” (20%) from NCT 127‘s second album “NCT # 127 Neo Zone“, then “We go up” (10%) from NCT DREAM‘s second mini album “WE GO UP” and “Boom” (10%) from their third mini-album “WE BOOM“.
The results also showed the year in which NCT fans became fans of the group. With 41.7% of the votes, the year 2020 became when they became NCTzen. It was followed by 24.2% in 2019, 16.7% in 2018, 9.8% in 2016 and 7.6% in 2017.
The best year for NCT’s activities, which fans rated the highest, was confirmed by the question “Best Year for NCT” produced by overseas fans. For the responses to this question, 2018 (69.1%) tops the list with an overwhelming voting margin, followed by 2020 (24.2%), 2017 (3.4%), 2019 (2.7%) ) and 2016 (0.7%).
