CHOA, AOA’s former member, opened a YouTube channel and announced her return.
On September 20th, CHOA said on her SNS, “My first cover video has arrived, and thanks for leaving so many warm comments. Have a great weekend everyone,” she posted with a photo.
Previously, CHOA opened her YouTube channel “초아 CHOA” and posted a video titled “CHOA Girls like you – Maroon 5 (cover by CHOA)”. In the released music video, CHOA strummed an acoustic guitar and sang the Maroon 5 song “Girls like you“.
CHOA, who debuted as a member of AOA in 2012, has released hit songs such as “Mini akirts”, “Heart attack” and “Good luck”. However, she left the group in 2017 and stopped working in the entertainment industry.
“I have been taking medication to treat insomnia and depression for two years, and I cut back on my hours because it wasn’t about burnout,” CHOA said.
“I am 28 years old this year and I want to rethink myself step by step and fill my 20 years with experiences as wide as my age.“
CHOA, who recently resumed her career after three years with the soundtrack “Here I am” from the KBS2 drama “Men are men”, signed a contract with Great M Entertainment and began resuming her career in the entertainment industry.
