On September 18th, KANG DANIEL‘s agency Konnect Entertainment, made an official announcement about its fourth wave of legal actions against malicious comments. (These actions have been ongoing since the end of 2019, the last one was in July).
Although the agency says it is making positive progress, malicious comments are back. This is due to the recent comeback of KANG DANIEL (with his album “MAGENTA“). The agency therefore says that they will continue to pursue these malicious comments and seek compensation for the harm caused.
“We had published warnings and requests for deletion because there were more and more messages, including those that were defamatory, spreading false rumours and other such malicious behaviour. As the number of malicious messages had increased to such an extent that we could no longer sit back and do nothing, on September 10 we started a fourth round of legal action. We intend to hold them responsible for their malicious messages through compensation for damages and other means“.
KONNECT ENT. also continues to encourage fans to cooperate and to send them evidence of malicious messages when they find one. In this way, fans can show how supportive they are of KANG DANIEL.
We would like to remind you that posting malicious messages in public (such as social networks) can have serious consequences for the person targeted. It is therefore important to be careful when posting something in public about someone other than yourself.
