The group VERIVERY of Jellyfish Entertainment made of 7 members, DONGHEON, HOYOUNG, MINCHAN, GYEHYEON, YEONHO, YONGSEUNG and KANGMIN, is back today to present its 5th mini-album “FACE US“.
Throughout the last few days, the 7 boys have led, step by step, fans to discover the atmosphere of “FACE US“, through teasers photos with different concepts, one all dressed jeans and the other with uniforms showing a new maturity within the group. The video teasers, meanwhile, introduced us to the world of the title song “G.B.T.B“.
The showcase begins with the broadcast of a teaser to present the band making its comeback with a mini-album, “FACE US”. Quickly, the seven boys take to the stage to introduce themselves one by one to the public, present through an online showcase. Before presenting their new mini-album, the members of VERIVERY are happy to share the happiness they had to achieve their first online fan meeting which took place on September 20th; “VERRERDISE.” However, KANGMIN says they had a good time with the members, because despite the absence of the fans, it was an opportunity for them to prepare for new performances. For their return, the members prepared a lot, and exploited the experience gained in the show Road to Kingdom. Afterwards, they take the time to present the different tracks of “FACE US”.

He continues by presenting this new album, the third being part of a lineage where the band explores a world he creates with his fans. This new mini-album “FACE US” contains a total of five songs whose title song “G.B.T.B“, with electronic sounds, delivers a message in a more daring and dynamic way with a cry never borrowed: “You and I, who are connected after facing each other, together, send firmly a message of hope that we can overcome all obstacles and finally face a new beginning”.
For the second track, “My Face” is a title in which you first cling to the addictive sound and insidious murmur of the chorus, then the song stands out for its unique development that will continue to spread within you. “Hold me tight” is a song that expresses the pleasant excitement of meeting in the dark and walking in the heavens. Sensual sounds and an elegant melody maximize the freshness of the song. “Get outta my way” uses heavy and powerful bass, the harmony of voices and synth sounds are breathtaking because impressive. The title strongly expresses the will to move forward without avoiding the truth that was unknown.
Finally, the last title of this mini-album, “소중력 (Precious Power)”, is a special title, as the members sing about their fatigue and the painful moments they are going through, while continuing to move forward. With this title, the boys are once again trying to get a message across; “the person who dreams the same dream as you is precious.
Compared to their latest title, “Connect & thunder“, the boys wanted to present a more powerful and mature performance, even though this title was only released two months ago. To arouse the curiosity of journalists, they take a few dance steps and then perform their new song for the first time; “G.B.T.B.” GYEHYEON hopes that this comeback will find its audience, and will receive good feedback from journalists attending their showcase. Returning to the filming of the clip, the members revealed that they had worked so hard that once the clip was finished, they were unable to move as they had aches and pains. In addition, they went on a diet to prepare for their fans. They want to attract other artists so that they can collaborate together in the future.
While the group is making its comeback at a time when many other artists are doing the same, the members are confident, because they will be able to show what they are capable of, loving very much the new title they have just produced. It would be an opportunity for them to properly celebrate their first place with their manager, with whom they have been working for two years. For members, there is no better time than when they are on stage, or when they have participated in the show Road to Kingdom. In addition, they were able to enjoy their fanmeeting, even if it could not stand in front of their fans because of the Covid. However, they remain hopeful that they will soon have a meeting with all the people supporting them.
The band then performed a second performance, “My Face”, before closing their showcase. Members thank the journalists, and announce their next showcase held the same day, for their fans this time.
