You might have heard of him, the artist JOOB A is far from the end of his creations.

AN Hyung-Ju, better know under the name of JOOB A, is making his nest on the Korean hiphop scene by just the age of 24 (Korean age)(1997). He starts writing songs while in high school but he had never ever thought doing it as a full-time job. After finishing his duty, where he kept on writing songs for 2 years, he started to believe in his ability to be a part of those full-time Korean artists. He ended his duty in February 2020.

And it sounds like making music was the best decision he could ever make. After the songs “I’m in L but” and “또” (again) featuring GAHYEON came out, he rises in the Korean music charts beside artists such as BLACKPINK or BLOO.

When we ask him about his feelings on those events JOOB A replies :

“Many people leave me messages that my songs are nice, this is like unbelievable to me. I used to feel some burden responsibility at some moments, music isn’t my hobby anymore, but something that others want to listen to, or my profitable job. Even though I feel burden because this is like a dream which is hard to believe to me, I will enjoy making music just as usual without feeling too much pressure.” -JOOB A

Thanks to the support of his community he feels very blessed of his creative daily life.

“I’ve made many songs related to parting, but I want to make some exciting tempo songs! That I can sing with excitent at the concert.” -JOOB A

His album “꽃 샘 추 위 ” from 2020 is the most important production to him because it’s made of feelings that he still feel today.

In this album the track “I’m in L but”, which until today got about 400,000 listings and he sais he was currently making a music video for this song.

Since the end of October we can sing his songs in Korean karaoke rooms.

When the sanitary situation gets better he would like to make more performance and live to get closer with his fans.

His current goal is to make a full-album that would be like an autobiography story with an album made up of his favorite contents, sound and artwork.

He should love to collaborate with artists from various universe from his. He would like to collaborate with CRUCIAL STAR or the producer VAN.C, and we can be positive to these goals since CRUCIAL STAR already follows his on Instagram !
