As duo AKMU announce a comeback after about a year and two months, their new song is called “Happening,” their agency YG Entertainment said on November 10th.
The song was written, composed and produced by LEE CHAN HYUK and co-composed by MILLENNIUM and guitarist SIHWANG, who co-composed iKON’s hit song “Love scenario“.
YG Entertainment posted the title poster for AKMU‘s third single “HAPPENING” on its official blog.
AKMU‘s more mature sensibility and a completely different atmosphere drew attention. LEE CHAN HYUK and LEE SOO HYUN‘s hairstyles, facial expressions and costumes exude a deep aura.
Additionally, the poster design, which appears to have been torn up and pasted with photos of LEE CHAN HYUK and LEE SOO HYUN, raised questions about the new history of the two artists, who have established themselves as stars.
As AKMU has always touched audiences with cool and sympathetic music, fans are already looking forward to it. It’s an awesome poster that follows a fast-paced landscape outside the window and a return video featuring the voice of LEE CHAN HYUK.
AKMU‘s new song “Happening” will be released at 6pm on November 16th. It’s barely a month since LEE SOO HYUN‘s first solo song “Alieen” was released and about a year and two months since AKMU‘s third album “SAILING“.
AKMU‘s third album, “SAILING“, was recognized for both its musical art and its popularity with audiences. The album’s title track, “How can I love the heartbreak, you`re the one I love,” topped the country’s major music charts at the time, with an “All Kill”.
And most notably, the song has always been loved as it remains at #20 on the Melon Daily Chart even after a year, and the interest in AKMU‘s new song is even more extraordinary.
