BTOB4U debuted on November 16th. Afraid you missed something. Here’s the sum-up of past week’s activities (this article also quotes BTOB).
Who are they?
BTOB4U is the second sub-unit of the KPOP band BTOB from CUBE ENTERTAINMENT.
BTOB debuted in 2012 with the song “Insane“. The first song to win a price was “Way back home” in 2015, 3years and 7 months after the band debuted. Since that day, the band won numbrous prices and awards, some of them being prestigious, such as BONGSANG AWARD, intended for promising artists of South Korea. They won this award for the their song “Missing you” (composed by IM HYUNSIK). The band BTOB is mainly known for ballad songs. Some even think they only do ballads, which is wrong when you look at some of their songs such as “Blowing up“, “All are wolves except me“, etc.
BTOB is composed by the members (from the oldest to the youngest) : SEO EUNKWANG (leader, discharged), LEE MINHYUK (discharged), LEE CHANGSUB (discharged), LIM HYUNSIK (or IM HYUNSIK, currently serving), SHIN PENIEL (american citizen, no military duty), JUNG ILHOON (currently serving) and YOOK SUNGJAE (currently serving). They all released a solo album (except for SHIN PENIEL who released few songs on digital platforms) aside from the album “PIECE OF BTOB“, the first album gathering up the first solo songs of the members.
Here’s a summary of the military services of the members :
√ SEO EUN KWANG : enlisted on August, 21st 2018, discharged on April 7th, 2020
√ LEE CHANG SUB : enlisted on January 14th, 2019, discharged on August 21st, 2020
√ LEE MIN HYUK : enlisted on February 7th, 2019, discharged on September 12th, 2020
LIM HYUN SIK : enlisted on May 11th, 2020, to be discharged on November 14th, 2021
YOOK SUNG JAE : enlisted on May 11th, 2020, to be discharged on November 14th, 2021
JUNG IL HOON : enlisted on May 28th, 2020, tp be discharged on February 27th, 2022
PENIEL is an american citizen and has no military duty.
The first sub-unit of the band BTOB is BTOB BLUE, composed by the vocalists only, SEO EUNKWANG, LEE CHANGSUB, IM HYUNSIK & YOOK SUNGJAE. The members debuted as sub-unit on September 2016 with the wonderful song “Stand by me“.
The second sub-unit has been announced on October 27th this year and is called BTOB4U (비투비 포유). Their first mini album just got released and is entitled “INSIDE“, with the title-song “Show your love”, a warmful song with a beautiful message of love with no conditions.

Monday, November 23rd
The 4 members went to Seongdong-gu Office to donate 50 000 masks. SEO EUNKWANG expressed his hope for this Covid-19 situation to end as soon as possible. The person who received the donation shown a lot of gratitude towards the members, explaining that they were following the title of their song “Show your love“.
It was announced that BTOB 4U would be on part B of NAVER NOW on November 30th.
WEEKLY IDOL uploaded few pictures of the 4 men during the shooting. The show would be uploaded on the next day.
On November 23rd, SHIN PENIEL enterted in the TOP100 Idol Individual ranking at rank number 65.
Finally, to end that day, the members SEO EUNKWANG & LEE MINHYUK uploaded pics of them while LEE CHANGSUB chose to uploade the box of his new in-ear plugs. The famous brand explained that the boxes are always personalized and that, in general, singers choose to write their name on it. LEE CHANGSUB chose to show his love to BTOB’s fans, Melody.
Finaly, some lucky Melody who got the chance to be selected for the video call event could make a video call with their idol.
Tuesday, November 24th
BTOB 4U won their first prize, 8 days after the release of their album and its song “Show your love“, on THE SHOW.

Wednesday, November 25th
Members IM HYUNSIK & YOOK SUNGJAE got 1st rank on THEKING, in the categories INDIVIDUAL RANKING & KDRAMA ACTOR.
Videos of WEEKLY IDOL and IDOL MUSEUM have been uploaded on Youtube.

Also, the members went to a show called WA LALLA for… An epic and unique moment (even for BTOB).
Thursday, November 26th
Official BTOB’s youtube channel has uploaded a video of the 4 members playing a game to be the first one to go home. The second part of the video isn’t available yet.
BTOB 4U was a guest at SBS YOUNG STREET (radio).

Friday, November 27th
The singers went at MUSIK BANK to perform “Show your love“.
SEO EUNKWANG uploaded pictures from the backstage of the show.
TXT SOOBIN posted pictures that he took with LEE MINHYUK. The 2 Idols quite enjoy to look alike.
Saturday, November 28th
LEE MINHYUK celebrated his 30th birthday (31 in South Korea) at 12PM. LEE MINHYUK’s brother uploaded a picture of the cake on his Instagram.
LEE CHANGSUB showed up in SUB OH BAR with KEY (SHINEE). English subtitles were add by a fan.
Sunday, November 29th
LEE MINHYUK & SEO EUNKWANG gathered up for a HADABANG (live) on Youtube to celebrate LEE MINHYUK‘s birthday with Melody.
The members created their own Youtube channels. SHIN PENIEL remains without any personnal channel yet.

The members of BTOB 4U expressed their deception towards their last live performance for the song “Show your love”. It looks like the promotion ended only 2 weeks after the release of the song.
