WAYV - KUN
KUN was featured in the SM ROOKIES project, a project organized by the SM ENTERTAINMENT agency, before being featured in 2016, in the group NCT. He is a Chinese member of the group, and was one of the first Chinese members to be introduced.
He later participated in the Chinese version of NCT U‘s song “Without you” released on April 12th, 2016, integrated song, not until 2018, in the NCT 2018 project’s full album, “EMPATHY“. (The NCT 2018 project is a project that aimed to bring all the subunits of NCT together, in order to make a full album with, KUN was also part of this project.)
It was not until 2019, a year later after this project, that KUN joined the WAYV sub-unit, and at the same time became its leader. WAYV is the unit that debuted in January 2019 with their debut mini-album “TAKE OFF“.

KUN is a very passionate person, and also very exciting. He enjoys working on songs, working with other artists whom he greatly admires and respects. For example on his Instagram account (@ kun11xd), it is not uncommon to see him interacting with other artists in the music industry. He also has his own Soundcloud account on which he has already posted some music. KUN is a person who likes to create, edit, imagine… He knows how to play the guitar as well as the piano, because he makes his own music, he writes his own lyrics. When he was younger he began to want to create and sing on his own, already making his own sounds and montages.
In addition to his few pieces composed by himself, he shot his videos, so as to make vlogs called “Kun’s Cloud“, in which he shares a few visits and moments with in particular WINWIN, another member of NCT and WAYV .
He can also be a bit of a magician, indeed in some VLIVES or in some videos he demonstrates magic tricks in order to impress members and fans at the same time. This is how he presented himself during the first VLIVE of NCT 2018.
In addition, KUN is one of the few with a driving license in the group, he has a Chinese license and another Korean.
KUN has a very soft voice that is pleasant to listen to, in fact, it is neither rap nor dance, but indeed singing, which he knows how to put forward (like other disciples of elsewhere like dancing). He also won several singing competitions when he was in China. During the WAYV video project “Rainbow V“, KUN showed with XIAOJUN, his talent and his voice that he knew how to put forward as it should, in order to give a good time to the fans through a video.
