Big Hit Labels artists’ first joint concert “2021 NEW YEAR’S EVE LIVE” has ended successfully. From BTS to new group ENHYPEN, the artists of the Big Hit label become one with fans around the world during their varied performances that have frozen time and space.
For the “2021 NEW YEAR’S EVE LIVE” which was broadcast live on Weverse, all the artists wanted to end this year 2020 definitively to start the year 2021 with great joy. “2021 NEW YEAR’S EVE LIVE” is the first concert of the artists of the Big Hit label, LEE HYUN, BUMZU, NU’EST, BTS, GFRIEND, TOMORROW X TOGETHER and ENHYPEN, united in one place.
Under the theme “We are connected“, artists and fans, musicians all collaborated to “connect” the end of 2020 and the beginning of 2021.
ENHYPEN and TOMORROW X TOGETHER, who opened the festivities, impressed with their powerful and energetic performances as well as their rookie freshness.
BUMZU and LEE HYUN added weight to the concert by showing off their exceptional singing skills with colorful performances accompanied by the musicians, while GFRIEND and NU’EST presented new stages that were not seen in the past with concepts and different arrangements.
BTS, who finished the performance, showed all of its performances for the first time in a long time with the return of SUGA, who had been briefly stopped due to a shoulder injury, eliciting enthusiastic reactions from fans. In particular, BTS created special scenes through joint performances with foreign musicians Steve Aoki, Lauv, and Halsey.
In addition, the scene that caught the most attention of the concert was the tribute from Shin Hae Chul. Using holograms made with artificial intelligence (AI) technology, the label’s artists staged the prototypes of the hit songs “To you” and “What you really want“.
As such, the artists of the Big Hit label have expressed their musical connections beyond time, generation and genre of music through “2021 NEW YEAR’S EVE LIVE“, raising expectations for their new endeavors which will begin in 2021.
