BANDAGE : HYUNBIN turns 20 years old

In this beginning of February, we are celebrating the birthday of the member in charge of the electric guitar in BANDAGE, the one and only HYUNBIN !

SHIN HYUNBIN was born in 2001, and learnt how to play guitar at an early age, because he thought that walking around with his instrument on his back was super cool. He then discovered his passion for music and decided to give up on his studies to pursue his dream. In 2019, he participated in the TV show SUPERBAND, a survival show which has for concept to create a band, where the band LUCY won. HYUNBIN got eliminated during the semi-finals, but he didn’t give up and in the same year, he created an independant band called DOPE-Y with some friends of his.

HYUNBIN will then join PLAYM Entertainment to be part of the band BANDAGE with LEE CHANSOL, KANG KYOUNGYOON and LIM HYEONGBIN. They debuted on April 3rd 2020 with the title “Invisibles“.

BANDAGE are still rookies, which means we don’t get much knowledge about the members except from the interviews they have made. During these interviews, we learn that HYUNBIN is someone quite reserved, who can’t lie and who has for nickname “brocoli” because of his naturally curly hair. We also got to know his MBTI type, which, according to the other members, is not accurate at all (he is supposed to be ENFTP. ). He also composed by himself the song “bam” which figures in their first full-lengh album entitled “432″, and it was a first time for him.

Besides that, through following his SNS, we learn that HYUNBIN really likes art, Gilbert O’sulivan’s and Paul McCartney’s songs and converses shoes, which he shows off is collection from time to time.
