YUGYEOM joins Korean Hip-Hop label AOMG.

After rumors relayed by journalists as well as a series of cryptic teasers released earlier this week, GOT7 YUGYEOM reveals to have signed an exclusive contract with Korean Hip-Hop label AOMG.

Through a dance visualizer on the song “Franchise” by TRAVIS SCOTT featuring YOUNG THUG & M.I.A, YUGYEOM made a big announcement for his upcoming solo career: he is now an AOMG artist.

AOMG is a Korean Hip-Hop and R&B label created by artist and now CEO JAY PARK in 2013. The label has grown over the years and is now one of the most representative of the Korean Hip-Hop and R&B wave of talented artists – consisting of top-notch rappers, singers and producers such as CODE KUNST, SIMON DOMINIC, WOO or more recently LEE HI.

The video focuses on YUGYEOM’s dance and performance skills, a talent that the latter has nurtured over the years and that is the reason why he was scooted back in 2011. YUGYEOM’s dancing skills have been acclaimed and acknowledged by fans and professionals – he has indeed won the Mnet 2016 show ‘Hit The Stage’, where he was up against various very talented KPOP dancers.

The visualizer not only highlights YUGYEOM and his crew’s powerful dance but also on a very detailed music video production – the scenery depicts a very post-apocalyptic construction site mixing brown and black tones as well as red and white lights. The director and production crew are also known for having worked on some of GOT7 JACKSON solo music videos such as “Different Game” or “Oxygen“. The quality of the visualizer was praised by many fans and casual listeners.

 AOMG artists such as JAY PARK, CODE KUNST, DEVITA, GRAY and many more warmly welcomed through social media posts.

Other GOT7 MARK, JAEBEOM, YOUNGJAE and BAMABM showed their support for their friend and fellow member through tweets and Instagram comments.

YUGYEOM is undoubtedly ready to showcase new facets of his artistry, one he gave fans glimpses of on his SoundCloud account that has now deleted. All of his social media accounts were updated, many posts were deleted, which is a common habit for artists joining AOMG, as if to start anew. Many are excited to see what he is planning to release under the label, YUGYEOM has grown and improved as an artist, as a singer, a songwriter, as a producer and as a performer. This is just his new beginning, one he is ready to embrace, fully showing that he is an artistic force to be reckoned with.
