ASTRO - YOON SANHA
On March 21, we are celebrating YOON SANHA‘s birthday. He is known to be a singer, a dancer, an actor, a model, a MC and the youngest member of boy group ASTRO.
YOON SANHA is a good at playing guitar, he has a sweet singing voice and is really good at speaking Japanese. He is also afraid of bugs, he can scream really loud and he acts most of the time like a real maknae (youngest member of a group) despite the fact that he is the tallest member. His fans also know that he has close friends among other 2000 liners and he even shared pictures with them.
He started his career in 2012 when he came to Fantagio’s audition and sang a song while playing guitar. He then belonged to the company’s ITEEN project which aim was to show the trainee’s life. Then, in 2014-2015, YOON SANHA participated in a project which aim was to create the company’s new boy group. The trainees had to be the best ones and create many performances to then perform on Lotte World’ stage.
YOON SANHA succeeded on showing his charms and talents despite his young age and became one of ASTRO‘s members in 2015. He participated with the other members of the group in the “Meet U project” to meet their fans in several cities of Korea and also in their pre-debut mini web-drama intitled “To be continued”. This was a good way for him to showcase his talents as a singer and a guitar player.
He debuted as ASTRO’s maknae on February 23, 2016 with title-song “Hide and seek” in which he was able to show his cute side that suits him so well. He had many comebacks over the years with his co-members and gained little by little more talents and maturity. In 2019, YOON SANHA made his debuts as an actor thanks to a solo project in the drama “Love Formula 11M”.
His youth and bright personality helped him being casted in several entertainment TV shows with ASTRO or in solo activities. The group’s youngest member was also praised for his powerful yet soothing singing voice on the TV show “The King of Mask Singer”.
On December 20, 2019, YOON SANHA became a member of a new project in which four 2000 liners could perform together on stage. The four of them covered the cute song “Just Right” by GOT7. In 2020, they made a comeback by covering a more sensual and mature song by Red Velvet intitled “Psycho”. In the fancam video under, YOON SANHA proved that he was able to dance and cover more mature songs that he could not show on a song by ASTRO yet.
In 2020, YOON SANHA also became one of the MCs for the muscial broadcast “Show Champion”. He started to have a more mature side of himself and started to let go of his cute side thanks to a sexy title-song intitled “Bad Idea”. YOON SANHA and MOON BIN made a comeback as a sub-unit in September 2020 and their first victory with this song made them the fatest sub-unit to win a trophy on a musical show.
