THE BOYZ
THE BOYZ‘s eleven members opened today’s episode of “KINGDOM” with a performance more impressive than ever.

After learning that they were 2nd for the face-to-face intro performance, the members of THE BOYZ were ready to show what they got and impress more and more people with a stunning performance and a story to captivate the audience. From the first episode, we understood that the group was going for a story based on the universe of “Game of Thrones” to create a storyline throughout its performances. During the first episode, that was the lyrics from SUNWOO‘s rap part and the dark outfits that reminded of this universe. Today, many details reminded of this universe like the fire, the Wall made of ice, the frozing winter and the monsters which are called The White Walkers.
The group decided to perform “No Air” which is one of THE BOYZ‘ most popular songs among fans, to create an epic remake entitled “No Air (A Song of Ice and Fire)”. Today’s performance tells the story about the tragic story of two lovers who represent ice and fire and their tragic love since they cannot love each other. Moreover, the lyrics describe the desire to be with the beloved one showing off sadness and sorrow.

Throughout the performance, ice and fire are opposed but are also linked to create spectacular visual effects. This stage is quite unique since a big part was filmed in a first-person point of view, making us the main character of the story aka the beloved woman, who cannot be with the one she loves, THE BOYZ.

THE BOYZ‘ members also prepared some tricks and creative ideas. For example, JUYEON is found in the middle of a huge white veil as if he was attacked by the monsters dancing with the group members for the performance. SUNWOO was one more time the one in the air hanging by a rope while the monsters are trying to reach him.

Concerning singing and rapping, the members were all able to show their skills as well as delivering emotions mainly during the first-person point of view. When the camera moves away, the members start to dance an intense choreography until the ending part in which ERIC is catapulted by his co-members who are fighting the monsters surrounding them. At last, HYUNJAE is the one ending the performance by puting out the fire in a hand gesture.

The camera finally zoomed on four members showing off strong gaze full of determination, passion or even the desire to win the competition.
You can watch once again the group’s amazing performance which is already avalaible on YouTube and posted under.
We will have to wait one week to discover the results for this second stage, but we know that this performance by THE BOYZ do not fail to impress people.
