BAMBAM, whose name is a reference to the cartoon The Flinstones, was born on May 2, 1997 in Thailand where he grew up. He quickly nurtured a passion for dance.
As a child, he was amazed by the performances of the Korean singer Rain, he even attended his concerts as his mother was a fan.
BAMBAM thus joined the dance crew We Za Cool along with his brothers and sisters as well as BLACKPINK LISA, a childhood friend of his.
BAMBAM was a talented dancer from an early age. If there’s one thing to know about Bambam, it’s that he is a relentless worker. He has been working all his life to accomplish his goals. He worked then, just as he still does, and he worked hard: appearing in advertisements, popular shows and prestigious dance competitions.
It was his wins in said competitions with his crew that led BAMBAM to JYP Entertainment.
BAMBAM indeed won first place in a RAIN cover dance competition in 2007 and second place in the Thailand LG Entertainer. He was scouted by the company’s representatives and earned his ticket to “trainee” days in 2010 after passing the JYP World Tour Audition.
His trainee days were long and hard but just as formative for the young man; mocked and doubting his path, he worked hard, creating strong ties with MARK and JACKSON, both of whom came from foreign countries like him.
It is within this trio that the young boy first evolved in the scene.
However, it was his participation in SHOW WIN: WHO’S NEXT, along with MARK, JACKSON, and YUGYEOM, that marked a turning point in his young career.
Initially, the group project that led to the debut of GOT7 was created to be a mix of 2PM and G.O.D and was only 6-member strong – and none of the spots in the boy band included BAMBAM.
It’s his performance, applauded by YANG HYUNSUK, founder of YG Entertainment, that led PARK JINYOUNG, founder of JYPE, to reconsider his decision and include the promising younger dancer in the soon-to-be-debuted group.
BAMBAM then debuted along with GOT7 and not with STRAY KIDZ as he thought he would at the time.
BAMBAM, who was still a teenager, was introduced to the public as a cute maknae, a rapper from Thailand whose dance skills were undeniable, a hard worker who already had plenty of experiences.
BAMBAM had to start from scratch when he came to Korea, a country of which he did not know the language, habits or customs, still he pushed forward to achieve his dreams.

BAMBAM grew up as an artist and as an individual in front of our very eyes.
His creativity often leads him to think and venture outside the box; even if it means breaking society’s codes – music, dance, production, videography, fashion, advertising, variety shows, he’s exploring them all.
From promoting with GOT7 to making a name for himself in his home country where he became a popular figure, appreciated by both brands and the public, BAMBAM is dabbled into as many fields as he can.
He is still a highly sought-after brand ambassador in Thailand today, alone as well as with the others GOT7 members.
This evolution has also led BAMBAM to stand out thanks to his bold and impeccable fashion sense, from his hair color to the brand of his shoes, everything is designed to appeal to the eye of the holder through the most spectacular outfits. He is also a great fan of the Yves Saint Laurent brand and attended the Fashion Week in Milan.
He does not hesitate to leave his comfort zone, especially when it comes to showcasing the best performances he can.

His performances and personality are not only a game of masks and artifices.
BAMBAM is a man of many talents, he is not only a performer but also an accomplished rapper, composer, songwriter as well as an aspiring video editor. One thing is for sure, any song BAMBAM has worked on comes off as a surprise. His inherent versatility is showcased throughout GOT7’s discography as well as through his own solo tracks: BAMBAM has been involved in the creative process in more than eleven of the group with songs such as “The Reason“, “Believe” as well as solo tracks that are fan favorites like “Party” and “Black Feather“.
His dance skills have been the very foundation of his K-POP journey, earning the praise of other talented dancers such as one of South Korea’s most sought-after choreographer LIA KIM.

He has also showcased impressive video editing skills, creating vlogs and a lyric video for the title track of the album “LOOK” released in 2018.
BAMBAM puts his all in his artworks, he nurtures his talents and channels his energy all for the sake of showcasing the best version of himself. His artistry is unlimited and comes from raw, genuine talent, and that’s what the fans enjoy.
Although BAMBAM had a career path rich in colors, it is not only his skills as an artist that allowed him to thrive.

He is a jokester who enjoys banter, with fans and with his members, especially on social media which he often uses to keep up with the trends or to keep in touch with fans.
He has a very endearing and tantalizing persona and devotes his time and energy to giving his hundred percent to fans – even though he sometimes struggles to realize his tremendous success.
He has created a special bond with them thanks to his energy and as a mood maker, a skill that one can enjoy during fan talks and other lives.

Even when facing adversity, from the difficult times of trainee days far away from home to abusive comments online, BAMBAM has not given up, pushing forward, making his career and determination a source of inspiration for many.
He was able to catch the eyes of fans, to affect and encourage others. He has remained true to himself and continues to work hard, revealing his various facets and the best of his talent at JYPE and also in his new agency, Abyss Entertainment.
