“Wolfgang” of the group STRAY KIDS recorded a good overall performance.
Mnet’s “KINGDOM: Legendary War” show showed the new songs, from the final round, of the six groups on various domestic and foreign music sites at 12pm on May 28th.
The new song that STRAY KIDS will perform in the contest is “Wolfgang”. At the end of the ninth episode of KINGDOM, which aired at 7:50 pm on May 27th, part of the title was disclosed.
As evidenced by the charts, “Wolfgang” ranked 98th on Apple Music’s Top 100 Global Chart shortly after its release, and also ranked second on the World iTunes Song Chart.
The track was also in the top 10 of the iTunes song charts in 30 foreign regions, including Russia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Brazil, Singapore, Indonesia and Thailand. It has been ranked top of the charts in real time on music sites such as 6th place in Genie Music and Bugs.
“Wolfgang” is an Austrian musician nicknamed “Music prodigy”, the title of the song on “Wolfgang” is inspired by Mozart “Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart”. For this title the image of a wolf pack is assimilated with the sound effects, as if the group were going to attack together to defeat their opponents.
In particular, the group’s production group, 3RACHA, which consists of BANG CHAN, CHANGBIN and HAN, were directly involved in the lyrics, songwriting and arrangement.
The expectations of the fans are therefore very high for the release of the title and the performance.
