WHEESUNG: Suspended appearance on KBS

On November 14th, singer WHEESUNG was suspended from appearing on KBS in connection with the controversy over his use of propofol. WHEESUNG was given a suspended prison sentence for using propofol.

Earlier in January, KBS temporarily suspended actor Bae SungWoo (fined for drunk driving) and BTOB group member Jung Il Hoon (two years in prison for inhaling marijuana).

According to the Operating Standards of the Broadcasting Appearance Regulation Review Committee, KBS, a public broadcaster, may recommend abstaining from appearing, temporarily restricting appearances, and suspending appearances depending on the severity of the issue.
