B.I.G is back with « Flashback » as a group that has grown further.
B.I.G GUNMIN, J-HOON, HEEDO, and JINSEOK come back with a new single album « MR. BIG: FLASHBACK », two years after « Illusion ».
The title song « Flashback » contains a message of hope for those who are facing difficulties. HEEDO, who participated in the lyrics himself, captured honestly the feelings of the members in the song, adding sincerity. The song is about B.I.G‘s dreams and expectations from their debut. But the lyrics are so strong and so well-written that anyone who experienced the same thing can relate.
This song is an EDM-based house genre with an impressive solid drum rhythm and baseline, and the lead line of the drop composition created by the voice creates an energetic sound.
The album named « MR. BIG » contains the members’ desire to grow bigger as well as the message of courage and hope.
B.I.G did a strong debut with the song « Hello » in 2014 and the fans’ expectations were high on what kind of message the group would deliver with « Flashback ».
Today, B.I.G published a performance video for « Flashback » with a really powerful and joyful choreography and many highlight points beautifully executed.
In addition, B.I.G made a comeback documentary that contains the process of working on the new song, drawing attention from fans by revealing the honest and real comeback preparation process. We can also see how the artists participated in the overall production process of the album.
B.I.G has conducted a Global Cover Project by posting various Arab song cover videos such as « La Bezzaf » « LM3ALLEM » « Boshret Kheir », and « 3DAQAT » on SNS. In December 2019, the members were awarded the “Korean Award for shining Korea” in recognition of their contribution to promoting K-pop to the Arab region, and they got appointed as Goodwill Ambassadors for the KAS (Korea-Arab Society) last month.
B.I.G is the first group in K-Pop history that released an album in Arabic thanks to its steady popularity in the Arab region. The group also showed off its global influence by participating in online performances for its global fans.
Meanwhile, the members recently showed off their unique charm as a mixed group with 777 (TRIPLE SEVEN) along with 3YE. 777 debuted in August with the song « Presente ».
The song « Flashback » will come out on 23 November at 6 pm KST.
