YUJU will take her first steps as a solo artist in early 2022.
YUJU released an official SNS teaser from Konnect Entertainment at midnight on January 3rd, signaling the start of a new musical story. It’s the first comeback in a year and two months, since the split from girl group, GFRIEND, and it’s a sign of a meaningful solo debut, raising expectations.
In the teaser, YUJU’s solo debut date refers to January 18th. It’s also impressive that we have prepared a mini-album from the first stage of her debut. The name of the album is “[REC.]“. which refers to the abbreviation “Recording” on audio monitors, but it raises questions about what that means.
The visual impact is also impressive. The intense red color that dominates the entire image is an eye-catcher. Along with the gracefully puffed dress, YUJU’s eyes are also mesmerizing. Along with the music, the enhanced style raises the expectations to the maximum.
YUJU was put in the spotlight when she joined Konnect Entertainment‘s new family in September of last year.
