The rookie group TRENDZ has been named ambassador for the Korea Science and Space Youth Corps.
On January 4, the Interpark Music Plus agency announced its first strong step, announcing that TRENDZ (Havit, Leon, Yoonwoo, Hankook, Ra.l, Eunil and Yechan) has been selected as ambassadors for Young Astronauts Korea (YAK) .
TRENDZ, selected as the Goodwill Ambassador, will encourage Korean teens to explore science and technology knowledge from January to December of this year and support teens dreams through various promotional campaigns. Ahead of their debut on January 5, TRENDZ will also participate in the opening ceremony of the National Aerospace Science Competition, starting with a joint launch ceremony in Daegu.
In addition, TRENDZ will actively participate in activities as new participants following Weki Meki, Vav and Dongkiz, who previously served as Korea Science and Space Youth Corps Ambassadors, as well as participating in videos of encouraging messages to uplift the voice as representatives of Generation Z.
The Korea Science and Space Youth Corps, where TRENDZ, who will lead the Generation Z trend, has been appointed ambassador, promotes various projects aimed at fostering scientific talent as a youth organization that strives to develop creativity through through science and technology education.
Meanwhile, TRENDZ, a day before its debut, posted an animated video of the logo on its SNS and made its debut official, catching the attention of fans around the world.
In addition, he announced that he will be hosting a World’s First Showcase at Blue Square Mastercard Hall in Hannam-dong, Seoul, at 8 p.m. on the 5th, his debut day. TRENDZ’s first global showcase will be broadcast live to K-POP fans around the world on its official YouTube and TikTok channels, and all songs from its debut album “BLUE SET CHAPTER 1. TRACKS” can be viewed on an animated stage.
TRENDZ, which has reported its activities as a “first actor in 2022”, will release its first song “TNT” at 6 p.m. on January 5 and will make its official debut in the music industry.
