Back from the USA after participating in the “American song contest” and the Billboards Music Awards, ALEXA is back in South Korea in Seoul to tell us about her experience.
Today May 19, 2022 at Bluesquare Chaos, ALEXA is hosting a press conference through her agency ZB LABEL to tell us about her experience during the “American song contest”.
The “American song contest” is an American contest in which different artists participate, each representing their state, ALEXA was chosen to be the representative of Oklahoma. In front of her were artists like Riker Lynch, Allen Stone, Michael Bolton, Sisqo or even Jared Lee, a total of 56 artists, each more talented than the other.

It is with the jet lag still present that the young woman comes to talk to us. Very quickly ALEXA transmits a lot of good humor, joy and a very big smile. Proving to us his aura and his undeniable charisma. She is surrounded by the director of her agency and a person who is there to translate if necessary, but ALEXA speaks Korean very well.
For the contest ALEXA defended her place and her state with her title “Wonderland”. This is accompanied by an extremely organized choreography and stage performance, with a troupe of dancers that ALEXA does not forget to thank.
During the conference ALEXA talks to us about this performance, whether in relation to the costumes, but also to the acrobatics. As you can see at the beginning of the song ALEXA is seated on a throne at a dizzying height, a moment that the young woman enjoyed. But also at the end of the performance, she has to drop backwards from the top of the stairs. Even if looking at it gives you an impression of ease, it takes a lot of work to get everything under control and the artist has done it perfectly.
For several years K-pop has gone beyond the stage of “phenomenon” to become a style in its own right with its own codes. The USA, as the director of the agency reminds us, knows K-pop thanks to several artists who have broken through and dominate the American charts like BTS, BLACKPINK and others. But here, a new name has just entered the memories of Americans, that of ALEXA, because the young artist from the height of her 1m52, has a particularity, she is American, originally from Oklahoma and she brings the K- style pop. A style like the artist confirms to us where the visuals such as the sets, the make-up, the hairstyle… are important. A clever mix that works and that allows us with pleasure to discover her fantastic talent.
During the final the public is clearly behind ALEXA and wants to show it, because she obtains a score representing almost the double of what the other participants obtain.
Remember that for ALEXA, named Alex Christine, it all starts with a contest organized by Soompi, “Rising legend” that the young woman will win. Thereafter she will join the cast of the Mnet survival show “Produce 48” which will make her stand out even more and it will be later, finally, that the singer will start with the title “Boom”.
Just about this whole journey KSTATION TV asked ALEXA how she felt about this one?
“It’s true that since “Rising legend” and until “American song contest” it’s a long journey in which there were several stages and where I learned a lot of things. My meetings with the CEO and the staff of the agency allowed me to be who I am today”. – ALEXA
Even if her career is already clearly well launched, how far will ALEXA go, and journalists are precisely wondering about her models and the different collaborations she would like to do.
At the level of her models with regard to Korean artists, HYUNA is one of her main ones, and especially with her title “Change”, which marked her a lot being one of the first choreographies she learned. As for the boys, she follows the group SHINEE and particularly TAEMIN who, for her, has a perfect voice and performances.
In terms of collaborations, so many names come to mind that he clearly wants to choose between them all, whether by their voice or their performance, it is with many Korean and American artists that the young woman would like to collaborate.
ALEXA is therefore the big winner of the “American song contest” and has proven once again that she is a complete artist and a performer. The singer telling us that for the rest, her next album should be a little darker than the previous one.
