BTS, V ranked first as the world’s most searched K-pop idol in Google history.
According to cumulative data from Google, the world’s largest search engine, V was selected as the K-pop idol with the highest search volume thanks to the search period from 2013 when BTS debuted until 2013. in January 2022.
During this period, V ranked first as the most searched K-pop idol on Google in 2016, 2017, 2018, 2020, and 2021. In 2018, V ranked first out of 100 among top related items to BTS in a Google Trend report.
According to Google data collected from January 1, 2021 to December 14, 2021, V had the most search trends among Asian celebrities beyond K-pop idols, and was ranked No. 1 among “Google’s Most Search Asian Celebrity 100”, showing his global superstar status.
V also had the most views among K-pop artists since the official ranking service was provided on Wikipedia, one of the official social indicators used as data for Billboard’s Social Chart.
