UNI-KON
On June 16, the global fan platform UNIVERSE announced a new festival from July 2 to 3 at the SK Olympic handball gymnasium in Seoul.
UNIVERSE is an application managed by « NCsoft Co. » connecting artists and fans around the world by a « planet » created for each artist present on the platform. We find in this application few exclusive features and programs such as broadcasts, video clips, behind the scenes and a social network section allowing fans and artists to discuss and share photos and videos.
When it launched, UNIVERSE organized a music festival where fourteen artists (KANG DANIEL, THE BOYZ, MONSTA X, PARK JI HOON, CIX, ASTRO, IZ*ONE, (G)I-DLE, OH MY GIRL, AB6IX and ATEEZ) performed on a stage using various technologies such as augmented reality. Due to the pandemic, this first event was on YouTube and the application without the presence of an audience.
After the success of this first edition, UNIVERSE announces a return of the UNI-KON with an audience and 19 artists planned! On July 2, fans will be able to find ASTRO, GHOST9, IVE, PARK JIHOON, THE BOYS, WEi, WeKi MeKi, WJSN, WONHO and YOUNIT. The artists scheduled for July 3 are ATEEZ, CIX, CRAVITY, DRIPPIN, EPEX, JO YURI, KEP1ER, LIGHTSUM, SF9 and YENA.
Tickets will be on sale from June 21 at 8 p.m. KST on UNIVERSE and on WE MAKE PRICE. A draw will also be organized on the application to attend this festival. For those unable to participate at this event on site, UNIVERSE has announced a broadcast of the festival is planned.
