The group ITZY will release its English single “BOYS LIKE YOU”.
According to JYP Entertainment on October 17, ITZY will be releasing its pre-released English single “BOYS LIKE YOU” at 1 p.m. KST on October 21 and will target fans around the world.
The poster released in this regard gives off a sweet and chilling atmosphere and stimulates curiosity for the new song. The beautifully decorated cake, which is partially broken, the color reminiscent of Halloween, and various images raised questions about ITZY’s new song and concept.
ITZY will unveil the stage for “Boys like you” for the first time during its US tour, which will take place from the end of October. From the debut song “Dalla dalla” to “Sneakers”, the group’s varied hits as well as new performances of the song will be showcased for the first time and will bring lasting memories to local fans. The tour kicks off in Los Angeles on October 26 (local time) and travels to eight US cities, including Phoenix on October 29, Dallas on November 1, Sugarland on November 3, Atlanta on November 5, Chicago on November 7, Boston on November 10, and New York on the 13th.
Meanwhile, the girls hit a “career high” with its fifth mini album “CHECKMATE” released in July this year and its title track “Sneakers.” As of July 30, the track ranked 8th on the Billboard “Billboard 200” main chart and 10th on the “Artist 100” chart, which comprehensively counts and ranks artist performances, beating its own best performance.
Following pre-orders of 726,665 albums, the album had 472,394 copies in initial sales (one-week album sales based on album aggregation site Hanteo Chart), and as of August 31, it has exceeded 1 million copies and became a “million seller”.
