G-DRAGON: A cloud to think about the victims

Big Bang member G-DRAGON expressed his condolences over the deadly Halloween accident in Itaewon.

G-DRAGON posted a message and photo with “prayforitaewon” on his personal Instagram account on October 30.

The photo posted by G-DRAGON showed clouds floating against a dark black background. He attracted attention by leaving a message in memory of the victims of the Itaewon disaster which shocked the whole nation.

The mob disaster in Itaewon on the night of October 29-30 caused a major disaster as around 100,000 people flocked to Itaewon to enjoy the Halloween party. According to firefighters, 151 people died and 82 people were injured at 9:40 a.m. this morning.

President Yoon Suk Yeol not only sent a response to this Itaewon disaster, but also set a national mourning period until November 5 and declared Yongsan-gu, Seoul a disaster area, and ordered all ministries and tourist offices to stop sending anyone to this area.
