MONSTA X: A victory that concretizes their international popularity
MONSTA X (Shownu, Minhyuk, Kihyun, Hyungwon, Jooheon, I.M.) proved its worldwide popularity by receiving the “Global Artist Award” for its brilliant career.

MONSTA X won the “Global Artist Award” at the 2022 Melon Music Awards (2022 MMA) held at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul on November 26.
After winning the “Global Artist Award“, MINHYUK said on behalf of the members, “Actually, it’s been a long time since I met MONBEBE (MONSTA X official fan club) in a big concert hall after the pandemic. Today’s scene was released hoping to be a small gift for the MONBEBE, who gave us a gift called the “Global Artist Award”, as a surprise. Even though I received this gift, I will work hard on stage. I am grateful to the family and the agency staff.”
I.M continued to thank MONBEBE around the world by delivering his acceptance speech in English.
“First thing first, our very first wanna thank to all the international Monbebe. And we, MONSTA X, we’re almost heading to the decade so, so i mean like, of course trophy is making a good scorethat might be very meanful and that might be very important but the most important thing to us is keep going with our lovely fan MONBEBE and I just really wanna say thank you so much for supporting and cheering and please don’t forget SHOWNU. is always with us. Thank you so much.“
Finally, with the members, they shouted “We love you MONBEBE” at the top of their voices, warming up the atmosphere on the stage.
MONSTA X performed a jazz version of the title track “Love” from their 11th mini album “SHAPE of LOVE.” The arrangement and atmosphere, which is different from the existing “Love” performance, overwhelmed the stage and led to cheers with a performance that brought out “soft” sex appeal.
MONSTA X then continued the performance with “Rush hour.” MONSTA X, who transformed into a charismatic bullfighter, dominated the scene with deathly stares. MONSTA X showed powerful and energetic performances, and proved its overwhelming live skills and high-pitched voice as a “reliable performance master”.

MONSTA X, which has entered its eighth year and has 14 albums released in Korea, including three full albums and 11 mini albums, is a “hardworking idol” group that has continued its musical activities throughout the eight years of its beginnings to now by keeping a qualifier “of idol of growth (which does not stop evolving)”. As MONSTA X demonstrates irreplaceable influence as a band “to be listened to with confidence“, has captivated global society beyond Korea, it opens up the endless possibilities of its members in the future.

MONSTA X made a comeback with its 11th mini album “SHAPE of LOVE” in April, breaking its own record, proving unlimited growth. From May 21 (local time) to June 11, the US tour “MONSTA X NO LIMIT 2022” took place, making its first entrance into the first arena concert hall in the Americas after its debut, selling out all seats and met fans in September.
