BUGABOO: The announcement of the end of the group
The six female idol group BUGABOO (Eunchae, Yoona, Rainie, Cyan, Choyeon, and Zin) will be disbanded.
On December 8, BUGABOO’s agency ATEAM Entertainment posted a notice on its official fan cafe saying, “Hello, we are ATEAM Entertainment. We would like to thank the fans for their love and support for BUGABOO. We would like to give you an official stance regarding the group’s activities. BUGABOO, which has worked hard since its debut and been loved by fans, will end its official group activities from today.”
“After a long period of reflection and discussion, the company and the members have ended the group activities and have decided to terminate the contract of all the members,” it explained.
The agency said, “Thank you again for your support and we sincerely apologize for the sudden news, to the fans who loved BUGABOO.”
It added, “We ask for your warm love and support for the members who are about to begin a new beginning.“
BUGABOO is known as Ryan Jeon’s first self-produced girl group, gaining attention. Additionally, EUNCHAE and CHOYEON, who appeared on Mnet’s survival entertainment show “Produce 48,” caught the eye.
BUGABOO debuted in October 2021 with their first single “BUGABOO” and released their second single album “POP” in June.
