MONSTA X released four mood images from its 12th mini album “REASON” to its official SNS on the afternoon of December 18.
MONSTA X has further heightened expectations for the new album with the release of a surprise ambient image that was not included in the previously released schedule.
The first mood teaser, which further heightened curiosity for the new album, caught the eye as it featured a springtime image with a throwback property based on gray tones. In the second released mood teaser, the melted white fabric creates a sense of danger, drawing attention.
The third image also shows a red poison ivy trapped in ice. The image of a poisonous herb reminiscent of a heart suggests that she is in danger. The latest released mood teaser features a paint job appearing in a frame. It is different from previously released mood teasers, raising questions about the concept of the new album.
“REASON,” which sparked fans’ imaginations with mood teasers possessing different fatal concepts, is receiving global anticipation for its new album arriving nine months after its 11th mini album “SHAPE of LOVE” released in April.
MONSTA X, which has announced a variety of promotions, is set to unveil four moods one by one through image teasers, concept films, and concept photos that will be unveiled sequentially, starting with the tracklist on December 20.
MONSTA X’s new mini album “REASON” will be released on various online music sites at 6 p.m. KST on January 9.
