FROMIS_9‘s title track “DM” was selected as K-pop Song of the Year by US Billboard.
On December 20 (local time), Billboard, an American music media outlet, released “Top 25 K-Pop Songs of 2022: Staff Picks.” Billboard, which chose “DM” as one of the 25 songs, said, “This is another jewel-like song from FROMIS_9,” adding, “The members showed strong vocal skills throughout the chorus.” Billboard added, “FROMIS_9 is currently the group that shows the most consistent and beautiful activities in the K-pop scene.”
FROMIS_9 is recognized for his musical abilities by being named to Billboard’s K-pop of the Year list, from “WE GO” to “DM” in 2021.
FROMIS_9 set its own initial sales record with its “DM” activities and enjoyed a surge in popularity, winning various global charts. In June this year, he won first place in different terrestrial music shows with “Stay this way” and won five awards.
FROMIS_9 will appear on the “SBS Gayo Daejeon 2022,” which airs at 7:30 p.m. KST on December 24.
