DAESUNG: Some writings, to thank for his journey

BIGBANG member DAESUNG has confessed his feelings of starting over after parting ways with his agency YG Entertainment.

On December 2, DAESUNG posted a video titled “A Mysterious Message Has Arrived” on his D’splay YouTube channel.

DAESUNG’s handwritten letter was released via video. DAESUNG said, “Thank you so much for taking care of me, raising me and making me grow for a long time when I was young. With all my grateful heart, I am going on a new adventure”, heralding a new beginning.

“Of course, I’m a little scared. However, I think this edgy but powerful step will be worth the unknown. In 2023, I’m just stepping forward with a bold heart in the face of a hazy future, but I’m going to step on the road quietly and boldly,” he said.

Finally, he said, “Someone said. Nothing is forever. No, there definitely is. It’s BIGBANG that lasts forever,” expressing his affection for the group.

Earlier, the members of BIGBANG were disbanded after their exclusive contract with YG Entertainment ended. G-DRAGON renewed his contract with YG Entertainment, and TAEYANG left the agency and joined The Black Label. TOP’s exclusive contract ended in February last year and DAESUNG’s exclusive contract ended last month.

감사하고 와이지

감사합니다. 마냥 어리기만 했던 저를 오랜 시간 돌봐주시고 키워주시고 성장시켜주셔서 진심으로 감사합니다.

그 감사한 마음을 가슴 한 편에 간직한 채 저는 새로운 모험을 떠나려고 합니다.

물론 두렵고 겁이 나기도 합니다. 그러나 떨리지만 힘차게 내딛는 이 발걸음이 불명한 가치는 있을 거라 생각합니다.

다가온 2023년, 한 치 앞날도 모를 뿌연 안개 같은 미래 앞에 그저 당찬 마음만 가지고 내딛는 발걸음이지만, 묵묵히 담대하게 그 길을 걸어가 보려고 한다.

아직 너무나 미숙하고 모자란 부분이 많은 저이지만, 저의 발걸음에 많은 관심과 응원 부탁드립니다.
