ATEEZ: A first well-deserved win for « HALAZIA »
Today, January 6th, the group ATEEZ was honoured with its first trophy for « HALAZIA ».
ATEEZ, who released its first Korean single « HALAZIA » from the album « SPIN OFF : FROM THE WITNESS » on the 30th of last month, made its comeback today on KBS 2TV’s music show Music Bank.
The eight members of ATEEZ (HONGJOONG, SEONGHWA, YUNHO, YEOSANG, SAN, MINGI, WOOYOUNG, JONGHO) appeared on stage, wearing a cape at the beginning of the performance for the title track « HALAZIA ». The members showed a powerful performance, complete with striking facial expressions, against a background reminiscent of the abandoned mall where the group filmed its music video for « HALAZIA », while dressed in black and white outfits.
In addition, ATEEZ also performed « Cyberpunk », which is a b-side of the album « THE WORLD EP.1 : MOVEMENT » which the group released in July last year and received a lot of love. It’s a performance that was only seen during the « THE FELLOWSHIP : BREAK THE WALL » world tour, but was specially prepared today for the ATINYs (name of the fandom).
ATEEZ took first place, against the group NewJeans, along with its comeback and said:
« It seems like the fans gave us a good present at the start of the new year, so I think I can run strong. I love you ATINY. »
Meanwhile, ATEEZ will continue its activities tomorrow, during MBC’s music show Show! MusicCore.
