On January 12, ATEEZ appeared in the first 2023 show of « M Countdown ».
For its second week of promotion, ATEEZ appeared on MNET’s music show « M Countdown » and performed « HALAZIA », the title track of its first Korean single « SPIN OFF : FROM THE WITNESS ».
Before coming on stage, ATEEZ transmitted its wishes for 2023 to ATINYs (fandom’s name) during its comeback interview:
« I hope you will not get sick this year, be healthy, and everything you want will go well. »
Afterwards, in a set made up of abandoned buildings and a spherical object recalling « HALAZIA » music video, ATEEZ received many enthusiastic cheers from the public. Indeed, ATEEZ members (HONGJOONG, SEONGHWA, YUNHO, YEOSANG, SAN, MINGI, WOOYOUNG, JONGHO) showed intense sensuality by adding fur and leather parts to their black and red outfits. Therefore, the group presented a legendary scene through exceptional performance and perfectly worked visuals.
« SPIN OFF : FROM THE WITNESS », the first Korean single of ATEEZ, presents the group’s story from the point of view of an eyewitness, giving the listeners a strong feeling of immersion. After its release, this single appeared on six Billboard charts, including the « Billboard 200 » where it reached seventh place. With this new entry, ATEEZ stands alongside great American artists such as SZA and TAYLOR SWIFT showing its international popularity once again.
Finally, ATEEZ will appear on KBS2’s music show « Music Bank » today, January 13.
