The popularity of SEVENTEEN’s special unit, BOO SEOK SOON (Seungkwan, Dokyeom, Hoshi), is alarming.
BOO SEOK SOON won first place on SBS’s “Inkigayo” airing on the afternoon of February 19 with the title track “Fighting (Feat. Lee Young Ji)” from its debut single “SECOND WIND” and won five other awards in music programs.
Earlier, BSS after winning No. 1 on MBC M’s “Show Champion” and Mnet’s “M Countdown”, won No. 1 on public television with KBS’s “Music Bank,” followed by “Show Music core! MBC’s and SBS’s “Inkigayo” showcasing its appearance as “the strongest fourth-generation unit” by dominating the top three music shows on public television.
In particular, BOO SEOK SOON proved his strong popularity and influence by winning five trophies without appearing on the broadcasts, having ended its official promotional activities for this album.
The members of BSS set a new record for the first time K-pop artist subunit (in record sales for one week based on release date) with “SECOND WIND,” signaling a big success from the start. Additionally, the title track “Fighting (Feat. Lee Young Ji)” has been at the top of the charts since its release on the realtime charts, and has been at the top so far, ranking first on Billboard Japan Comprehensive Song Chart, Hot 100.
