BOYNEXTDOOR: Debuts in Japan

The group BOYNEXTDOOR will make its official debut in Japan and continue its rise in popularity.

BOYNEXTDOOR (Jaehyun, Sungho, Riwoo, Taesan, Leehan, and Woonhak.) will release its first Japanese single “AND” on July 10 and make their official debut there. “AND”, which includes four tracks, including the title track of the album released in Korea, “One and only” (first single “WHO!”), “What do you think?” (first mini-album “WHY…”) and “Earth, wind & fire” (second mini-album “HOW?”).

Particularly, with its second mini album “HOW?”, BOYNEXTDOOR,  released in Korea last month, becoming very popular in Japan, expectations for its debut single “AND” are growing. With “HOW?” they achieved an initial launch (the first week of sales) that was twice as high as its predecessor, winning two awards in the weekly album chart and the combined weekly album chart of the Oricon weekly charts. It also topped Billboard’s Japanese Fan Chart “Hot Album” and topped Line Music’s “Top 100 Daily Albums” in Japan for five days (April 17–21).

In addition, BOYNEXTDOOR was invited to “Summer Sonic 2024“, Japan’s largest music festival, and established itself as a special expectation to lead the entertainment world. “Summer Sonic” is Asia’s largest urban music festival, featuring top musicians from around the world as well as top Japanese artists.
